We stayed for 3 nights at this exceptional game reserve and had the most amazing time. Frans the game ranger was absolutely brilliant, and managed to track all the big five, and made the safari experience both fun and informative. The lodges, food, and service were all wonderful. Shamwari was the highlight of our two week garden route trip from Cape Town, and we had no problem driving to Eagles Crag. I want to say a special thank you to Portia, the manager of Shamwari, who was extremely professional and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We look forward to returning to this exceptional game reserve.
